I have a 2 acre property on the Gold Coast. I am soon to farm this with orchards and vegetable gardens. The property has roughly a 20* slope and it grassed. The machinery would need to be able to pull a small trailer and if possible be able to mow the lawn. I dont want to spend more than $5000 (2nd Hand). My Question is this... should I purchase a Quad bike (ATV) or a miniature tractor? It needs to be able to drive to the top of the hill at a steady pace. Also - if an ATV is the best option - what cc do I need to get? On last note - if possible I would love to be able to use the vehicle in a fun way (ie ride it around, jumps etc) (more...)

I think i have a great edea. I want to have an all around business ranging from. mowing-plowing driveways to parking lots- clear cutting for new houses to camp-tearing down old barns to houses and such and clean up the area so it isnt an eye sore. digging ditches-rototilling gardens. I know and i garentee that i can make this business go. all it takes is hard work and comitment. I have some good ideas about this. from going to realaters and offering services like when they sell houses that i would mow the lawn and remove any unwanted junk. I also believe that to have a sucessful business your business has to look as good and the work that is done. I believe in having nice looking machinery and nice trucks it is all about appearance. people dont want or like old nasty looking vehicles or machinery working or parked around there property they like new nice and great looking machines and trucks. People like to look good and thats what im about making them look good and that is what i want is them to be happy. He is petrified to the point of distraction of the hoover (vacuum cleaner), any sort of buzzing noise, even vibrate on a mobile phone, drills, the electric shower, my hair dryer, the fan heater, the blender and the latest one is if I start up the car whilst any of the doors are open he completely loses the plat and freaks out. It is affecting all areas of his life to the extreme. In my mothers house, if he even catches a glimpse of the hoover or if anybody even stands by it he will scream and cry in fear. If my husband is having a shower he will refuse to use the toilet even if he is bursting which results in an accident. I dont understand the problem. Last year when the sun was shining he would refuse to play in the back garden for the fear of a plane going over head, he was completely traumatised. It was when we actually brought him on a plane he got over that one. He is less scared but still hesitant. We had his ears tested as a result and they are perfect including his eardrums and sensitivity level. The audiologist said that it is behaviour. How do we even begin to deal with this. He is wary and fearful in ALL new surroundings as he is always waiting for a noise to pop up out of somewhere!! HEEEELP!!!! We have met with someone who has also suggested that he has some sort of sensory issue. She said that he is indeed eligible for assessment which I am wary of. I have worked with autism and kids with verying types of special needs and abilities so I now what autism is. He is not autistic and hes quite outgoing, loves going shopping, has no rituals and is generally flexible in all areas of his life. A regular little boy. His only areas of concern are the reaction to buzzing noises and delayed (but not severe by any means) speech. He doesnt mind loud bangs or drums or loud music or shouting, its just motor/engine noises that terrify him to the point of shaking out (more...)
